How the

POD LIVING WALL SYSTEM WORKS

Pods can extend the life of your Living Wall project. Here’s how >>

PODS can be plumbed into existing internal systems or can be watered by hand via watering cart.

Simple Irrigation

1

Watering the wall is easy when you water the top row, it cascades down each column and out the bottom.

The PODS themselves are made with a front enclosure, allowing only the plants to be securely inserted.

Enclosed Irrigation

1

This enclosure prevents leaves from falling into and clogging the system. This mulch is what attracts pests in other systems.

Enclosed Irrigation

2

Instead of long trays/frameworks, the individual PODS are a system unto themselves. They can be arranged in unique placements and still receive/dispatch water.

Modular Design

Each plant grows in a 6” grow pot of soil. The more soil a plant is rooted into the more moisture can be retained between waterings.

Soil Based

1

When plants dry out between waterings, it's called water stress.  More soil reduces water stress on plants and the need to replace them repeatedly.

Soil Based

2

Each 6” grow pot + plant securely fits into the POD housing. This completes the “enclosed” front and ensures the plants aren’t knocked around from foot traffic or wind for outdoor walls.

Plant Security

POD walls can stack to any size wall indoors and out. The features listed in this carousel make it the ideal system even for the largest project types.
