This curved POD Living Wall highlights flexibility and integration, adapting to the structural features of the space.

Design Intent

Biophilic design was identified early on as a priority by Meyer Design’s client, guiding the vision for a living wall feature that would introduce nature, texture, and vitality into the workplace. The intent was to create a statement element that enhanced the overall environment while reinforcing the client’s commitment to a healthier, more engaging workspace.

Implementation

Green Oasis implemented the system using a modular POD Living Wall System, which allowed the curved form to be achieved without custom fabrication. Each wall operates as a fully enclosed system, with water circulating behind the plants and draining to the base. In coordination with the millwork contractor, the installation was integrated into a wood-clad shroud, giving it the presence of a built-in architectural feature. Concealed cabinetry at the base houses the irrigation components, keeping maintenance discreet while ensuring reliable long-term performance./p>
