For Backcountry’s retail locations, the design goal was to capture the brand’s deep connection to the outdoors and bring that identity into the store. Moss Walls were selected as a natural and enduring way to establish a visual link between the shopping experience and the landscapes that inspire the Backcountry lifestyle.

A mix of Pole Moss and Reindeer Moss was used to achieve layered texture and depth, ensuring installations felt distinct yet cohesive across multiple locations.
