Integrated into custom millwork, our POD System supports a living wall that reflects sustainable values and welcomes guests.

Design Intent

In partnership with Alliance Architecture, Hannon Armstrong sought a living wall feature that would welcome visitors and bring a natural element into their Annapolis headquarters. The installation was designed to nod to the company’s broader sustainability mission, aligning with their focus on climate-positive solutions. The wall balances visual impact with long-term performance, serving as both a subtle reflection of company values and a memorable focal point for guests.

Implementation

Green Oasis supported the design process through renderings, technical guidance, and our Green Design Assistance service. Using the modular POD Living Wall System, we seamlessly integrated the installation into custom millwork that reduced plumbing needs and maintained a clean aesthetic. A curated plant mix was chosen for its layered textures, adaptability, and resilience, resulting in a wall that continues to thrive more than a year after installation.
