Design Intent

Zendesk’s Austin office was envisioned as a flexible, people-centered workplace where design details enhance both focus and connection. Greenery was identified as a key element for softening architectural lines, fostering well-being, and creating a more inviting atmosphere. Our role was to carry this intent forward, ensuring the plant program supported both the space and the company culture.

Implementation

Green Oasis took over the plant program from the previous tenant’s provider and reimagined it for Zendesk’s needs. Our team reconfigured the layout of existing planters, introduced new vessels where needed, and curated a fresh palette of plants that fit the modern interiors. Placement focused on the café and conference rooms, where greenery adds warmth, balance, and a more hospitable atmosphere for both employees and guests.

Green Features

  • Reconfigured planter layouts to better align with the new workspace design.
  • Added new planters and refreshed plant species to enhance variety and texture.
  • Focused greenery placement in café and conference spaces for impact and usability.
  • Provided ongoing plant maintenance to ensure lasting health and vitality.
